Warning WinRAR! Corel Winzip 11 Gets RAR Support

Corel today announced the first public beta of Winzip 11 that could possibly tempt the customer base of WinRAR to shift loyalties. Here's a quick summary of new features introduced in Winzip 11 that are worth noting:

» You can view the Image thumbnails right inside Winzip without first extracting the images from the Zip file.

» Winzip 11 can open and extract BZ2 and RAR formats though you will still need Winrar to create RAR files.

» The Winzip interface is completely redesigned and resemble more like the standard Windows Explorer.
