Jurgen Gallmann, Microsoft Germany CEO, Quits Over Differences with Redmond

According to Microsoft Informer, Jürgen Gallmann, who heads Microsoft’s German subsidiary, has resigned following differences with the U.S. headquarters.

Some newspapers have obtained the copy of an e-mail sent by Gallmann where he has complained of Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond imposing increasing restrictions on the German operations and showing little interest in local requirements.

According to Microsoft, Jurgen asked to be released from his contract due to differences in views about the future strategy of Microsoft Germany.
