In another major development, AOL has fired the Chief Technology Officer, Maureen Govern, along with the researcher who released the data and the manager overseeing the research. The Executive bio of Maureen from AOL Corporate website has been erased though it's still available in Google Cache.

According to Bloomberg, John McKinley, whom Govern replaced last year, is returning to the role of chief technology officer.
