Maximum Number of Google Adsense Ads Allowed on a Web Page

As an Adsense Publisher, you already know the rules. Google Adsense allows a maximum of three standard ad units, two Adsense for Search boxes, three Adsense link units and three Adsense referral units to be placed on any web page.

Now take this small quiz - count the number of Adsense ad units shown in the screenshot (click to enlarge). It's from a real website.

The MFA site also violates the second rule of Adsense Bible that says - "No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant."

I don't know if such page exists as Google ad serving would not allow to publish all these ads, nevertheless, due to the image and your ads in post above, this post page certainly looking like "Web page made from Google adsense ads" :).

I guess the publisher used more than one adsense id on single page!
Even if u place more adunits they don't display anything!
Thats my experience! :-(

Amit,
I am surprised how come the this many ads are showing up. I have noticed that if you try to put more than three ads on your page, google doesn't show the ads for the forth "code fragment". That means they check it if you have three or more, only three ads will show up on the page.

This is weired.

Who knows? This could have utilized iframes or something to bypass the normal rules.

At least this site is completely lame. I have MORE issues with someone stuffing 3 adlinks units and 3 adblocks on a page. That would be inexcusable in almost any case...not to mention that its the very kind of thing that reinforces ad blindness...which hurts all of us.

We all need to learn to be more tasteful in our use of these things. Otherwise, they become worth less and less...and since Google doesn't protect us with a reasonable price floor, we have fight for ourselves.

The site has got 3 standard ads, 3 adsense referral unis and 3 link units. But since it has no original content it violates the google adsense rule. So the publisher will not be getting any checks now.

gr8 post Amit! keep it up .. if you are short of urls pls let me know.

thanx
Alex

Yeah what Rahul said was right.
The publisher should have used more than one adsense id for displaying ads...

The publisher should have used more than one adsense id on the page.this gave the chance for him to get more number ads on the page

It's obvious that the webmaster have no time to put some real content at the page. ;)

I think one of two of those ads must be dummy ads where they put an image and linked them with their others sites.

I have never seen so many google ads like this. Does Google have any policy to stop people to post so many ads.
