Windows Media Player now works inside Firefox 2.0, officially.
Microsoft today released an official Windows Media Player add-on for Firefox that will let you play wmv video, wma audio and other streaming media formats inside Firefox without problems.
The Firefox plug-in is backwards compatible with Windows Media Player version 6.4 and also adds support for Windows OCX scripting interfaces, which allows developers to add more functionality to applications.
