Google Gmail LogoGoogle has earlier faced problems registering gmail in UK and Germany due to disputes with previous owners.

For this reason, Gmail users in these countries have an email address ending with @googlemail.com instead of the regular @gmail.com suffix.

Now a similar case is brewing up in Poland. Google has launched legal action against a group of Polish poets, demanding they give up their Internet domain name gmail.pl to Google.

Izabela Krawczyk of GMAiL acquired the domain last year and uses this site to publicizes the poetic works of new unknown poets. [Grupa Młodych Artystów i Literatów means a Group of Young Artists and Writers]
