The news is real this time. MyBlogLog has finally been acquired by Yahoo!. After del.icio.us and Flickr, MyBlogLog seems to be the next most exciting service that has become part of Yahoo! in recent times.
Like Flickr, MyBlogLog will remain a separate service, but Yahoo users will be able to register on it with their Yahoo password. The reader communities will soon be able to access Yahoo services, like Flickr or Yahoo Answers.
The interesting part is that most MyBlogLog members already provide their Flickr, Yahoo IM and del.icio.us handles in the MyBlogLog profiles so the integration should be pretty fast and seamless.
Also, Yahoo! didn't have any web analytics service like Google's Urchin but with MyBlogLog, they can potentially step in the market now. Congratulations Scott Rafer.
