Wow! The most requested feature in blogspot is now live. When you upgrade from Blogger v2.0 to Blogger v3.0 Beta, none of your earlier posts will have any labels and it takes just too much time and effort to label the old posts by separately editing them inside the Blogger web editor.
So Google today announced a new Labelling feature that makes it extremely simple to add labels [or categories or tags] to your existing blog posts in Blogger Beta.
Just like GMail, you can choose multiple blog posts and apply new labels or remove the existing ones.
This new feature is a blessing for folks (like me) who are migrating to the new Blogger platform (or have already migrated) and have tons of old posts that are not yet labelled. On the Edit Posts page, you can select batches of posts and add or remove labels to all the posts at once.
This single feature alone makes the new Blogger so tempting. Julie Meloni, friend and expert Blogger user, writes - "Works well. Looks good. Go use."

hey amit,
how to convert from blogger account to blogger beta account or how to transfer your post from blogger to blogger beta...

Amit,
Why don't you try switching to full/complete RSS feeds and monetize the feed with Feedburner or something like that?
Partial feeds are a mighty pain!

@Moyeen - To switch from old blogger to new blogger, you have to receive an invite from Google which I think they are distributing in a phased manner.
@BB - I too like to switch to full feeds but you cannot imagine the extent of plagiarism that happens when you syndicate the entire content in your feeds. It just gets impossible to manage then.

Mohammad when you look at your dashboard you'll find news about beta blogger.Click 'learn more' this will take you to a new page where you have the option to switch to new beta version. But think twice before switching.I found some weird things.I'm no more unable to list my posts in chronological order.

Amit I don't think we need an invitation.I switched by doing exactly as I mentioned earlier. All you need is a Google Account. If you don't have you can create a Google Account on the spot(option provided).

Thanks for the info. Just a week back I was looking around to categorise my logs and found a hack around by tagging them to del.icio.us. Even though I hear a lot of things against Beta, I love it.

Hey Amit, why don't you post a tutorial about how to add HTML counters etc. in Blogger Beta templete.
That would be helpful!

Thanks dude. Initially when I switched, it was boring for me to set labels for my handful of posts. This is of real help.
