Microsoft Releases Add-on for creating Password Protected Folder on Windows XP

Hiding important documents, photos or file folders on Windows XP is now a simple process though the Sys Admins will hate this technique.

Microsoft has released a free Windows XP add-on called Microsoft Private Folder 1.0 that adds a password protected folder to your hard disk where you can store [or hide] sensitive files or personal documents.

This tool adds only one password protected folder called 'My Private Folder' in your XP user account to save your personal files. So if you want to hide multiple folders, you will have to put them under this Private Folder.

The Private Folder tool is especially useful when you share you computer with other people.
