The Apple Website didn't even make a brief mention about April 1, 2006 but business rival Microsoft, in a strange but friendly gesture, designed a special birthday card for Apple hosted on Microsoft Corporate Website.
The Microsoft card says - "We've enjoyed our 22 years of partnership with you. Here's to many more!". On a side note, Apple just announed a new software for running Windows XP on Apple Mac.
