Google Toolbar 4 for Internet Explorer could mean an alternative revenue stream for Adsense Publishers.

When your blog fans add your site search in their Google Toolbar (see figure), you stand a good chance of making money.
How ? Because your Adsense Client details are automatically embedded in the site search URL, whenever he makes a search with your Site button, he gets to see contextual Google ads. These ads translate into revenue for you when clicked.
I contacted Google Adsense support to make sure this is legal and doesn't break Adsense TOS. Here's the reply I received from Google Support.

We kindly ask that you do not encourage your users to place links to your AdSense for search box into a toolbar. However, if a user does so on their own, it would not be a violation of the AdSense program policies. So as long as you don't encourage users to add your site search to their Google Toolbar, it is perfectly legal.
